Rabbits are lagomorphs which means they are gnawing herbivores (plant-eaters), who have two pairs of incisors in their upper jaw. They are very closely related to rodents and their incisors (front teeth) never stop growing.  Rabbits are meticulously clean animals and with proper care, they are easy to house break and can make wonderful loving pets.

The Mini Lop Rabbit breed originated in Germany, while Lionhead breeds are traced to Belgium.  Rabbits are lagomorphs and are herbivores (plant-eating) and due to their domestication, are quite friendly with humans and often other species of animal they may reside with.

Society Finches are a domesticated species of bird and are closely related to the White-rumped Mannikin.  Male and female are best told apart by behavior, mostly in that the males sing quite frequently.  These birds are known to be excellent parents.

Native to most of Florida, but range stretches as far north as areas in New Jersey.  They are carnivores and are constrictors, who swallow their food whole.  Corn snakes may have been named so because they tend to feed on mammals who are found in corn fields.

Native to areas between Florida and Texas and as far north as Kansas.

Box turtles get their name from being able to “box” themselves in, withdrawing their limbs and head inside their shell.  They are omnivorous and the “Three-toed” part of their name refers to their hind limbs.

Tree frogs are arboreal (tree-inhabiting) and are excellent climbers.  Their rubbery skin helps keep them hydrated and they feed primarily on insects in the wild.
