One adult from the party group must accompany naturalist in boat.
Explore out on the Smiling Pool searching for turtles and frogs to
capture, examine and release.
Curious George Party

Come monkey around with George as you try some great
games, science activities and awesome adventures.
Dino-mania!

Explore the world of dinosaurs through
tracks, fossils, size comparisons, songs and artifacts. You’ll get a
“big bang” out of making your own dino-tracks and exploding a
handmade volcano!
Fairy Houses:

Ages 4 and up. Offered year round.
Listen to a
special story then collect bits of bark, twigs, shells, pine
cones and other natural materials to build your own house on
Fairy Hill.
Hogwart's
Potions Class:

Come to Potions Class and create
incredible mixtures, solutions with amazing abilities and a
batch of edible Ron Weasley “slugs.” Like the Mad Scientist’s
party take home what you create.
Live Animal Story
Time:

Listen to an animal story then meet and touch live animals.
Mad Scientists!

Become a chemist by creating and experimenting with unusual
compounds. Take home what you make.
Pirates Life for Me:
$180 members $200 non-members (Additional child $18 [a 12 child
maximum for boat]) (1.5 hours)
Ages 6 and up.
Offered Mid May - October. One adult from the party group must
accompany naturalist in boat.
Learn about Pirate life, hunt
for buried treasure, sail on the Black Mussel. Each child receives
a bandana, booty and a pirate coin to take home.
Safari
Adventure:
$120 members

Ages 4 and up.
Offered year round.
Explore the Briar Patch “Safari style” discovering
hidden signs (antlers, turtle shells, etc) and tracks left behind by
“wild animals.” Meet some of our resident live animals.
WILD about Animals:

Ages 4 and up. Offered year round
with a seasonal frog capturing expedition.
A hands-on visit with our

WILD and Crafty:

This “Arty Party” is for those who love to
create? Choose 1 of the following themes: Animal Crafts, Native American
Crafts or Seashore Crafts.

We provide a 1 to 2 hour program
with a Society naturalist.
Approximate time for program portion is listed by each party.
Parties are booked in 2 to 3-hour
blocks.
Check each description for suitable ages.
All parties are priced based upon 10
participants.
Additional fees are charged for additional
participants.
We require a non-refundable $25 deposit payable within
2 weeks of the party.
Use of a private room for 1 hour is provided.
You provide all the party-related items.
We have refrigerator or freezer space available for your use
