Our Mercantile is a destination shopping experience for Cape Codders and visitors throughout the year. Go back in time, from country stores, to general stores, to turn of the 20th century mercantiles, when life was simpler and shopping for family wasn’t about technology but rather more hands-on fun items for both kids and grown-ups.

Please notice the difference between the jams that are shippable and those only available for Porch Pickup at 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich.
Our shop has signature Cape Cod Beach Plum Jelly made from local, hand-picked fruit and our walls are lined up with a wide selection of jams, Thornton Burgess book titles, storybook character puppets, fairy gardens, linens and other special treats.
When we do have to slip into technology, it’s with our online store that offers a great selection of jams and jellies, as well as books and nature toys for kids and those enjoying the outdoors.
The Mercantile has new, fun and creative merchandise arriving regularly. It’s always a place to check out when you want to have, or send, a Cape Cod memory.
