Here is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to cook in our beloved 1903 kitchen. Join Emalee Pierce in the Green Briar Jam Kitchen and make your own batch of something special to take home and enjoy. All materials are provided, and participants take home four to six (8oz.) jars of finished product.
These classes are great for family reunions or just a fun excuse to get a group of friends together. Due to COVID, we are offering the opportunity to bring your own group of up to four or six people. You choose your flavor for the group to make once your reservation is confirmed.
We cook with the seasons...
SPRINGTIME classes focus on strawberry flavors, fresh apricots, and rhubarb. SUMMER includes strawberries, blueberries, and stone fruits such as peaches, plums and nectarines. FALL is the time for spiced flavors using apples and pears. And finally, WINTER resonates with cranberries and citrus. We offer classes in making jam, chutney, marmalade, and pickles.
