2024 Year End Appeal
The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and Green Briar Nature Center offer endless opportunities for visitors of all ages to discover, learn, and connect with the natural world through compelling exhibits, robust programs, and outdoor exploration. Our two campuses engage and enrich more than 65,000 children and adults each year.
AS A NONPROFIT, WE RELY ON THE GENEROSITY OF DONORS.
Fees and admission prices don’t cover all expenses—20% of our 2024 revenue must come from donations.
DONOR DOLLARS ENABLE US TO:
- Foster a deeper understanding and love for nature
- Care for the animals in our Live Menagerie
- Monitor and protect more than 80 acres of Museum-owned land
- Maintain buildings, animal habitats, exhibits, and collections
- Preserve the legacy of Thornton W. Burgess—Sandwich-born native, author, naturalist, and conservationist—and the natural environment that inspired him.
- Preserve our historic buildings and collections
- Keep fees and membership costs affordable for everyone
- Provide scholarships to local youth
