Jam Classes
Join Emalee Pierce in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen and make your own batch of something special to take home and enjoy. Here is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to cook in our beloved 1903 kitchen. All materials are provided, and participants take home four to six (8oz.) jars of finished product.
We cook with the seasons...
SPRINGTIME classes focus on strawberry flavors, fresh apricots, and rhubarb. SUMMER includes strawberries, blueberries, and stone fruits such as peaches, plums and nectarines. FALL is the time for spiced flavors using apples and pears. And finally, WINTER resonates with cranberries and citrus. We offer classes in making jam, chutney, marmalade, and pickles.
